We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team in the APAC region. Based in our Singapore office, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving sales initiatives that align with our organizational goals.
In this key role, you will report directly to the Director of Business Development, APAC & Middle East, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and contribute to the overall success of the business. Your expertise in sales and market insights will play a crucial role in expanding our footprint and achieving sustained growth across the APAC and Middle East regions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with colleagues within the Sales Team, APAC, and Middle East regions to drive sales initiatives.
- Prepare quotation proposal packages based on service offer requests for sales opportunities in the APAC and Middle East regions.
- Provide clerical support to the sales team and management, assisting with sales and marketing-related tasks.
- Familiarize with the various Metizoft software solutions, products, and equipment sold.
- Maintain records and update the sales pipeline using HubSpot or Metizoft CRM Systems.
- Coordinate proposal development and gather inputs from internal stakeholders, Sales team, and IHM Operations team.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Business Lines, and other internal departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.
- Participate in customer negotiations as required, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in HubSpot CRM and other relevant systems supporting the sales function.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and participation in exhibitions, seminars, and external training as part of the company’s marketing efforts. This includes organizing and attending events to support marketing initiatives.
- Provide monthly reports on sales plans, activities, and progress.
- Support IT-related tasks for onboarding new sales team members, ensuring necessary apps and access are set up properly.
Requirements
- Diploma, preferably in fields such as: Engineering, Finance or Sustainability, or a related field.
- High energy to evolve/grow in a fast-expanding business.
- Prefabably 3 years of experience in task related to complex sales activities, marine compliance and marine regulations, training will be provided.
- Possess a “Can-Do” attitude and has a proactive approach to work
- Relationship building and team player approach with good communication and administrative skills.
- Attention to details and awareness of how they fit into the bigger business picture.
- Systematic and organised approach to work.
- Understanding and willingness to learn about existing and possible after sales business.
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral, other languages are considered as an advantage.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Word and MS office.
