- Assist in the second line oversight of the financial risks for PACS.
- Ensure compliance with the PACS Financial Risk Framework & Policies.
- Collate and analyse the output of the Financial risk appetite metrics, and follow up on any breaches.
- Produce financial risk reports and assessments.
- Engineer automated solutions for enterprise risk management.
- Strengthen organisational risk culture.
- Assist in the preparation of items and running the Management Risk Committee.
- Assist in the preparation of the Board Risk Committee and Board papers.
- Assist in the preparation of PACS Own Risk & Solvency Assessment and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of PACS Recovery Plan and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to meet requirements of MAS Notice 134 on recovery and resolution planning, including maintenance of critical functions and services as well as robust management information systems in times of crisis.
- Ensure compliance of investment activities by the PACS Investment team, Eastspring and other external fund managers.
- Investigate any investment breaches and produce the breach reports.
- Review and interpret any new/ amended regulations pertaining to Investment activities.
- Assist in investment material reviews.
- Monitor and report on LRAP and WACS changes in the PACS portfolio.
- Review new/ revised products, including sales, marketing and training materials.
- Monitor the use of advertising, product marketing, sales promotion and training materials.
- Partner with the relevant departments to meet the necessary regulatory, compliance and internal governance policies requirements.
- 5 to 8 years of work experience in Financial Services Industry
- Experience in insurance industry, preferrable with experience in area(s) including product management, actuarial, investment compliance or FRM
- Results oriented individual who can drive deliverables within timelines
- A self-starter who can work independently with limited guidance
- Proactive person with a ‘can do’ attitude
- A strong individual who has independent views and able to influence others
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Excellent communication (verbal and oral) skills
- Good at stakeholder management
- Excellent computer skills particularly MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Degree in actuarial science, economics, mathematics, statistics, risk management, business management, or other related discipline
- CERA or other certifications in FRM or actuarial will be an added advantage
