- Lead the alignment across business functions for new/changed business capabilities and processes.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and ensure that solutions are developed to DHL’s specifications and internal standards.
- Deliver the program solutions on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business leaders and business program management across the organization.
- Regular Interaction with senior personnel on issues that may require coordination across business units.
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of new process solutions related to the Program.
- Freedom to act within the bounds as set by the Program Board and Sponsor.
- Anticipate new and evolving technologies and assess their impact on processes and systems.
- Assess the impacts (process, organization, system, dependency, priority) associated with the change and work to ensure seamless implementation of the change.
- Drive alignment of business processes, standards, and EGAP solutions across Functions, Regionals, and Countries.
- Recommend and champion process change and continuous improvement.
- Provide input and recommendations to functional exCOMs, internal process, Program & Project boards as required.
- Ensure that training is available to support the process and solutions developed by the team.
- Proven knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
- Established background in business and business process analysis including process modeling and the usage of standard notations.
- Strong understanding of the wider objectives of the program.
- Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management.
- Strong leadership, organization, and management skills.
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
- Ability to manage change in a high-pressure environment.
- Very strong analytical thinking, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented; capable of adding significant value to the existing management team and successfully implementing their ideas/concepts.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and concepts in a way non-technical people can understand.
- Ideally a comprehensive knowledge of the DHL Express Network with a good understanding of logistics and transportation within the Express industry.
- Global experience and teaming that has delivered world-class results.
- A minimum of 10-12 years’ experience with at least 5 years in a Senior Project Manager or Business Analyst role.
- The program manager must have a successful and proven track record of practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects.
- University Degree or equivalent.
- Professional qualification/certification in Program or Project Management.
