What the role is:Under the Prime Minister's Office, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is the government department responsible for the investigation and prevention of corruption in Singapore. It ensures that zero tolerance towards corruption is maintained, and Singapore remains corruption-free. CPIB welcomes motivated individuals who are willing to play the important role of providing administrative and operational services in supporting the Bureau's needs and its mission.What you will be working on:Responsibilities: The Digital Forensics Branch is part of CPIB's Operations Department, and its main function is to uncover, extract and present digital evidence for CPIB's Investigation process. You will be part of a team responsible for conducting both computer and mobile phone forensic examination in relation to the Bureau's investigation process. As part of the job scope, whenever necessary, you may be required to produce evidence in a Court of Law as an expert witness and write court forensic reports. In addition, you will also be taught to take proper maintenance of forensic laboratory's tools and inventory. Procurement of forensic tools will also be part of your job scope. You will also have the chance to work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and implement new initiatives to better deliver our digital forensics output.
