What The Role Is
The Culture Pass Unit is a newly established inter-disciplinary department within the Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY). In this role, you will oversee financial operations of the SG Culture Pass, including transaction processing, reconciliation, and process improvements.
- Financial Processing, Reconciliation and Reporting
- Execute programme cash account reconciliation, process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Analyse financial reports and monitor programme budgets.
- Manage finance workflows for programme activities.
- Analytics Review
- Review financial transactions to identify anomalies.
- Implement risk mitigation measures and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Process Improvement and Controls
- Enhance operational efficiency and maintain internal control compliance.
- Assist in the documentation of key processes to facilitate compliance with internal audit requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as primary financial contact for programmes and provide financial insights to operational teams.
- Audit Support and Compliance
- Assist in the preparation of documents required for SOPs and internal audits.
- Address audit findings and implement improvements.

Experiences
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Accountancy, Finance or Business.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and experience with related systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement improvements.
- Ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Meticulous with an eye for detail and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and IT systems.
- Strong team player with a customer-centric mindset.
