- Support hardware R&D initiatives from component fabrication to full system integration.
- Develop and fabricate mechanical and electrical components for prototypes and production.
- Build and integrate mechanical and electronic assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with engineers to design test fixtures, collect data, and generate detailed reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, design modifications, and validation processes.
- Maintain, organize, and manage tools, measurement equipment, and hardware labs.
- Execute hands-on work with high-precision mechanical systems, deposition systems, flow/pressure controllers, motion controllers, vision systems, and PC-controlled setups.
- Fabricate prototypes and first-article hardware to advance product development.
- 7+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer or Technician, preferably in R&D or semiconductor equipment development.
- Skilled in conceptualizing and building engineering test setups from verbal instructions or rough sketches.
- Experience in fabricating prototypes and first-article hardware for advanced product development.
- Proficiency with high-precision mechanical systems, deposition systems, flow/pressure controllers, motion control, and PC-controlled hardware.
- Hands-on experience with lab tools such as hand tools, basic machine shop equipment, crimping tools, and soldering irons.
- Strong diagnostic skills using tools like programmable power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals-able to interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications (e.g., flatness, straightness, torque settings).
- Knowledge of electrical engineering-proficient in reading schematics, diagrams, and cable drawings.
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks and Inventor preferred) for solid modeling and drafting.
- Experience with vacuum systems and related test equipment (e.g., pumps, MFCs, leak detectors, RGAs, heaters, and controllers).
- Exposure to metrology equipment like profilometers is an added advantage.
