Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy

  • Develop end-to-end outreach and amplification campaigns to support public policy goals in Southeast Asia and India, including campaign messaging, audience targeting, content development, media channels, budget and project management, and performance analysis and reporting.
  • Act as creative thought partners to local Public Policy teams in Southeast Asia and India, brainstorming campaign ideas and content based on available data and insights that help engage external stakeholders and local communities.

Content Development

  • Create organic and paid content for various platforms, including social media, emails, landing pages, display, etc.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and voice.
  • Work closely with media agency to deploy content across various paid media channels.

Project Management

  • Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Drive the progress of campaigns to ensure they stay on schedule.
  • Organize and lead regular check-in meetings to discuss campaign status and address any issues.
  • Develop memos and slide decks for internal communications (e.g., proposals, project plans, progress reports, final reports).
  • Communicate with internal teams (e.g., policy, comms, legal) to gather necessary approvals for campaign assets.
  • Coordinate feedback and revisions to ensure assets meet all requirements.
  • Perform final checks before content goes live to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Ensure any project documentation is organized in Google Drive.
  • Support any other additional tasks, including opening POs, getting people paid, and budget tracking.

Performance Analysis

  • Work with media agency to track and report on the performance of content and campaigns, and adjust and optimize campaigns where appropriate.
  • Develop internal progress reports and final reports to communicate performance.
  • Work with Regional Manager to develop recommendations and learnings for future content and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data-informed political campaigning, marketing, or public relations, amplifying campaigns through a variety of online and offline channels, preferably in India or the SEA region.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex political concepts into actionable campaign strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in crafting messages for diverse audiences.
  • Keen interest and understanding of political and social dynamics and issues.
  • Experience in vendor management and project management across business functions and geographies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully working across cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for political engagement and a good understanding of the political landscape in India and SEA.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and another Southeast Asian language preferred (Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Indonesia/Thai).
  • A keen eye for design and writing preferred.
  • Passionate about the positive impact of travel and tourism and willing to travel (10-20%)
