What the role is:You will support the Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Division (PSQID) by performing data analytics and management for the National Value-Driven Care (VDC) Programme. This involves tracking and monitoring clinical quality/cost outcomes and patient-reported outcome measures tied to selected medical/surgical conditions, across various care settings. To support MOH's drive towards improvement in clinical/patient-reported outcomes and value of healthcare services delivered by our healthcare institutions. Responsibilities include supporting the benchmarking of both clinical/patient-centric and cost performance across various healthcare clusters and institutions, analysing data to understand drivers for the performance. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:
  • Performing data analytics, including deep dives to establish data insights • Compiling multiple datasets including clinical, mediclaims etc. datasets using statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, Jupyter • Extracting and referencing to clinical codes and diagnosis-related groups for case selection and analysis • Developing and maintaining charts/tables through data visualisation software such as Tableau, PowerBI • Establishing and refining Technical Manual outlining detailed methodology in data extraction and computation approach in measuring outcomes tied to each medical/surgical condition, in consultation with clinical experts • Working with key stakeholders in implementing data automation projects
