Team Summary

The Sellers & Fintechs Account Executive team has the primary objective of driving sales and growing revenue for the market. The team is responsible for managing the commercial relationships with some of Visa’s most strategic partners in Singapore.

A unique opportunity exists to join the Singapore team to work with a diverse client set across acquirers, merchants, as well as fintechs and enablers. Strong economic growth, competitive landscape and swift acceleration of digital commerce make the Singapore market one of the most exciting places to work at.

The role is based in the Singapore and will report to the Senior Director, Head of Sellers & Fintechs , Singapore and Brunei.

What a Senior Manager Account Executive, Sellers & Fintechs does at Visa

The Senior Manager will lead sales and partnership opportunities across acquirers, merchants and fintech clients with a focus on the seller side of the business. This role has a broad focus spanning Visa’s three strategic focus areas of Core (Consumer Payments), Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (B2B & Corporate Payments), and Value-Added Services (such as Advisory, CyberSource, Loyalty Solutions, Data and Risk solutions and more).

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop an all-round perspective of the way Visa works and partner with a diverse client set, generating a significant contribution to Visa’s revenue in Singapore. Success in the role requires identifying and pursuing sales opportunities while working well with a multitude of cross functional external and internal stakeholders to execute on identified sales opportunities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, manage and deepen relationships with key acquirers, merchants and fintechs in Singapore
  • Identify commercial opportunities and risks relating to these partnerships, focusing on driving sales and structuring commercial deals that will promote growth
  • Defend existing account revenue while looking for new opportunities to further grow the Visa business across Core, Commercial/Money Movement as well as with Value-Added Services
  • Identify opportunities to open acceptance in underpenetrated segments to grow Visa’s market share and increase Visa revenues
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to deliver solutions that meet our clients’ needs
  • Lead and work with cross-functional teams across the Visa organization to bring the best of Visa solutions and capabilities to our clients as One Visa, sharing responsibilities and resources
  • Serve as a thought leader both internally and externally to champion the Sellers and Fintech business.
  • Represent Visa in client engagement and industry events and constantly evangelize value and differentiation of Visa’s solutions

What you will need

  • Minimum 10 years of experience related to sales and business development in the payments industry - acquiring, payment enablers, or fintech sector experience
  • Proficient in commercial deal modelling, deal negotiation and a proven track record of planning, managing and closing complex deals, with a focus on results driven execution
  • Strong understanding of players in the seller side ecosystem and of the acquiring business
  • Ability to interface independently with external stakeholders at the highest level, with proven ability to build credibility, negotiate and influence decisions
  • Independent operator with the innate drive to identify and pursue/develop new business opportunities
  • Knowledge of payment trends, as well as Visa products and services, spanning core products, commercial and money movement, as well as value added services and emerging digital solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on key revenue driving opportunities
  • An innovative mindset and agile with ability to adapt to market needs and changing environment
  • Collaborative approach with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
