- Lead and supervise a team of technicians.
- Ensure technicians perform disassembly, inspect, repair and assembly functions of engines, its associated modules, parts, components or accessories in our OEM MRO facility.
- Carry out the work properly for specific aircraft engine parts within the cell with current approved technical data and standard work processes; including level 3 operation procedures.
- Perform shift work.
- Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work.
- Carry out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on equipment.
- Comply and adhere to code of ethics as well as EH&S regulations, standards, requirements and procedures.
- Assist the Operations Leader/ Assistant Foremen/ Cell Leaders in their day-to-day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
- Carry out SAP transaction.
- Perform cross-functional jobs within the department if required.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must possess relevant CAAS Examination Credits (SAR 7 or SAR66)
- M06 & M07 OR TM1 – Material and Hardware & Maintenance Practices OR Aircraft Materials and Hardware, and Maintenance Practices. (Mechanical)
- M09 – Human Factor and Error Management .
- M10 OR CO1 – Airworthiness Administration OR Air Legislation.
- M15 – Gas Turbine Engine.
- H11 – Human Factor and Error Management.
- B11 – Maintenance Practices and Materials.
- C14 – Turbine Engine Theory and Construction.
- C15 – Turbine Engine Systems.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license acceptable to CAAS or equivalency may also apply.
- Have at least 4 years maintenance experience – preferably Part 145.
- Experience in aircraft engine build environment as a workshop engineer. (Certifying Staff releasing ARC.)
- Possess Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/ Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical Technology/ Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or any other relevant courses.
- Experience in aircraft engine workshop operations procedures will be advantageous.
- Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.
- Knowledge of SAP and Solumina will be an added advantage.
- Experience in PW4000 and PW1100 engine model and completed engine type course will be an added advantage.
