Position Summary
QA Engineer (CQE) is responsible for managing customers on quality issues & process field claims in a timely manner for resolution.
Candidates with experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate customer documents review to build customer specific requirements to internal system.
- Build and drive customer relationships to improve customer satisfaction.
- Drive customer issue resolution activities following the claims management process, i.e. root cause analysis, containment, corrective action, and factory process / quality controls improvements to prevent recurrence of problems and efficacies of detection.
- Provide timely engineering insights including failure analysis technical reports and presentation to customer.
- Analyse & drive for validated data to mitigate the assessed risk.
- Work closely with relevant departments to uphold product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Core member in new product / process introduction ensuring timely qualification for a safe launch.
- Support customer visits and audits, change management execution, FMEA review, Control Plan reviews.
- Specific responsibilities include identify trends and improvement opportunities to meet/exceed all goals and objectives for Customer Quality Scorecards.
- Other ad-hoc activities assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconduction production, 3 years in dealing with customers and direct customer facing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of FMEA, Control Plan, SPC & 8D, change management, JMP or Minitab.
- Well versed with semiconductors reliability & analysis according to standards.
- Good understanding of first article inspection requirements and expectations.
- Possesses the analytical ability to structure processes and procedures, identify trends and patterns, as well as resourcefulness to propose solutions.
- Excellent driver and effective communicator with all levels in organization as well as customer.
- Demonstrate commitment to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance, experience in product, process and system audit.
- Experience as ISO / IATF auditor is an added advantage.
