What the role is:The goal of Family Life Group (FLG) is to nurture a family-friendly society by strengthening family resilience through all stages of life, and supporting families to overcome early risks and challenges to family relationships.What you will be working on:Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be part of the Service & Digital Transformation team responsible for driving product management and ops-tech strategy across the suite of family services and programmes in FLG and across Public Service. You will take on the product manager role for Families @ Life SG. The role will involve collaborating with internal divisions, government agencies and vendors: Families@LifeSG product management: • Conduct research and service journeys, and develop a comprehensive product vision and roadmap to better serve families across life stages on Families@LifeSG • Prioritise features, groom product backlogs and resources across MSF divisions and public service agencies based on impact, feasibility, and strategic importance • Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders • Work closely with engineering team to translate prioritised requirements into actionable technical specification for development and implementation. • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across MSF divisions and other government agencies • Ensure alignment of team efforts with overall product strategy • Track overall progress to ensure alignment to outcome metrics Capability building and ops-tech strategy: • Drive capability building in product management across the Family Life Group • Develop the ops-tech strategy for Family Life Group and pilot innovative solutions to drive greater efficiency and resource optimisation with the ops divisions. You will gain valuable experience in product management and digitalisation strategy, developing initiatives to enhance customer experience, and working with stakeholders in public and community sectors.What we are looking for:
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, digital transformation, and/or ops-tech • Good stakeholder engagement and management skills • Strong project management skills and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines • Strong communication skills; able to establish good collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Knowledge and experience implementing agile/scrum methodology • Ability to analyse issues from a strategic and systems perspective, while having a good grasp of details and processes. • Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to consider all facets in implementation - business value, user impact, technology readiness and risks • Experience in management of IT vendors and projects will be an advantage
