Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Director, Sales and Account Development to drive growth, manage key accounts, and enhance our payment solutions portfolio for merchants. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital payments, including QR payments, and a strong track record in sales, business development, and ecosystem development within the financial payments industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales & Business Development: Identify, develop, and execute sales strategies to expand our merchant and partner network. Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative payment solutions.
  • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key merchants and partners, ensuring their payment needs are met while driving adoption of our digital payment solutions.
  • Payment Solutioning: Work closely with merchants to understand their business models and design customized digital payment solutions, including QR payment integration, that optimize their operations and customer experience.
  • Ecosystem Development: Understand and contribute to the expansion of digital payment ecosystems, including emerging trends in QR payments, wallets, and alternative payment methods.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing) to align sales efforts with company goals and industry regulations.
  • Market & Industry Insights: Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to ensure our payment solutions remain cutting-edge and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in digital payments, fintech, or financial services, with a focus on sales, business development, and account management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital payment ecosystems, including card payments, QR payments, e-wallets, and cross-border payment solutions.
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Proven ability to drive sales and manage high-value merchant accounts with a consultative approach.
  • Analytical & Solution-Oriented: Ability to assess merchant payment needs and develop tailored solutions, with a focus on QR payment implementation, to enhance payment acceptance and efficiency.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with payment technologies, QR payment systems, APIs, and integration processes is an advantage.
