Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the IT Manager, this position is responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud systems and cybersecurity, contributing technically to overall IT support. This hands-on role involves collaborating with service management, compliance, and IT risk management teams to ensure infrastructure and security meet best practices and regulations. You will work with business partners to manage delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring IT systems' continuity and driving strategic initiatives to modernize the environment. Support application owners and provide design insights for fleet infrastructure and security.

Key Responsibilities/Job Accountabilities:
- Oversee IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity, including on premise network, firewall, Azure Cloud XaaS, M365 E5 suite, EDR, XDR systems, providing full status visibility across the IT dept.
- Manage Microsoft Cloud platforms, Full M365 E5 Suite and Azure XaaS
- Guide & Manage IT Support teams on technical capabilities and adherence to ITL processes.
- Ensure high-quality IT support aligned to ITIL (Incident, Service requests, Problem, Change) with peers and MSP vendors. Ensure SLA’s are met and changes are managed through CAB process.
- Technical Architecture management of Infrastructure & Security, maintaining a high standard of architecture documentation and review processes.
- System lifecycle management, Maintaining a high-level of operational Documentation, Inventory, Technical SOPs etc.
- Provide Technical design and implementation support for projects and IT training.
- Manage account onboarding and offboarding across various systems, working with stakeholders to enhance JML processes.
- Maintain security compliance of cloud systems, ensuring SaaS vendors meet quality and security standards.
- Support audit activities and provide evidence for finding remediation
- Promote cloud-first strategy and support key projects to adopt SaaS and cloud offerings
- Maintain server room equipment, fire suppression, UPS, water leakage, humidity control, etc and support reducing on-premises infrastructure.
- Contribute to End-User Services (EUS) strategy from a technical perspective
- Ensure BCP/DR capabilities across systems are aligned to business requirements
- Manage system backup across various cloud systems, ensuring we retain immutable copies data.
- Maintain our security posture and collaborate with vendors and peers to ensure our security posture is proactively maintained through various gap and VAPT exercises, driving resolution of gaps.
- Provide full transparency across your remit to the wider IT team and IT Management
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational qualifications: Degree qualified – preferably in a computer or technical engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years working in a technical IT role including networking, security, infrastructure, on-premises and cloud.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in implementing and managing Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in operational vendor management
- Advanced Level expertise in M365 E5 Suite of Services, including Entra ID, Intune, PIM, RBAC. Teams Phone System with Cloud PBX.
- Extensive experience in Entra ID (Azure AD), including PIM, Guest account, B2B Collaboration, Conditional Access
- ITIL V3 Certified and experience in implementing ITIL methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of NIST, CIS Controls, VAPT, Sentinel XDR and other Cyber Security frameworks
- Proactive attitude to continuous improvement and enhancing cyber security posture, performing regular gap analysis and remediation activities, working with IT Risk to ensure gaps are made visible.
