Job Description:

  • Receives referral forms from referring institutions and check that the forms are completed
  • Register patient admission, prepare and request for additional information that may be necessary to complete the Follow-up Referral form for doctor-in-charge to review and approve.
  • Updates outcome of referrals once approved or rejected by doctor-in-charge, either via the IRMS or fax to referring institutions.
  • Liaises with referring institutions on patient’s condition and readiness for transfer. Prepares them for patient admission and arranges for admission.
  • Accompanies patient and Next Of Kin to ward on day of admission and verifies documentation.
  • Checks for completeness and correct filing of documents in patient’s file before sending the file to the Medical Records Office for archive upon discharge of patient.
  • Sorts out brochures for Administration Office.
  • Issues receipts for walk-in cash or cheque donations.
  • Collects and keeps records of complimentary car park coupons issued.
  • Assists in loaning and receiving of donated equipment.
  • General admin and ad-hoc role

Job Requirements:

  • Min Diploma / A levels
  • Able to commit for 3 months
  • Comfortable with palliative setting
