Mon – Fri, 8.30am - 6pm
Contract: ASAP - 15 Apr or longer
The role involves managing backend information system projects, with a focus on system migration and upgrades. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for streamlining existing processes and implementing new technology initiatives. This role may require occasional travel between outlets for project deployments and collaboration with stakeholders at various levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless system cutovers, setup, and configuration.
Coordinate with store teams and IT departments to align project deliverables with implementation timelines.
Assess current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, while developing and executing test plans.
Conduct thorough migration testing and participate in end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), maintaining proper documentation.
Assist in updating SOPs and user guides, as well as providing training to support new system functionalities.
Offer on-site support during system go-live and escalate issues when necessary.
Ensure timely execution of planned tasks and adherence to project schedules.
Respond to and resolve production issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Provide ongoing operational support for business systems, including SAP and other related platforms.
Requirements:
Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Business or Business Info Systems
Working experience in the retail industry is preferred but not compulsory
Background in SAP Retail is a bonus but not a pre-requisite.
Comfortable working with different types of backend info systems.
Proficient in Excel
Team player with good communication skills
Keen eye for details
