About the Role:
The Advanced Molecular Pathology Laboratory plays a key role in supporting cutting-edge biomedical research, with a focus on rodent histology. As a Laboratory Officer, you will be responsible for providing essential laboratory services to support research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate specialized laboratory equipment to deliver histopathology services for the research community.
Perform basic histopathology processing including paraffin/cryo embedding, cryotomy, microtomy, and staining.
Assist with laboratory logistics, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and general housekeeping.
Support any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
Strong laboratory skills with good manual dexterity.
Familiarity with histopathology techniques and GLP is an advantage.
Meticulous, well-organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
