Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer
Position Summary:
The Media Sales Support Specialist will provide critical support to Chief Revenue Officer and the media sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the sales process. This role involves handling administrative tasks, managing client communications, and assisting with campaign execution allowing for the media sales teams to focus on generating revenues and meeting targets. The role serves as a bridge between the media sales team and other departments, facilitating communication and coordination to ensure successful sales outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of media sales processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks relating to sales booking, campaign schedule and post sales related work.
Client Communication: Assist Sales team as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing follow-ups, and providing updates on campaign status.
Sales Coordination: Support the sales team in the preparation and delivery of proposals, contracts, and presentations. Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate. Collaborate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Campaign Management: Assist in the coordination of media campaigns, including tracking campaign performance, managing deliverables, and addressing any issues that arise.
Data Management: Generate reports to support sales efforts and performance tracking.
Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives. Maintain filing system of sales materials, collaterals, and promotional items, and coordinating their distribution as required.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within a media or customer service environment.
Familiar with sales processes and CRM system.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle high pressure situations with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Problem solving and decision-making skills to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly as well as prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and familiarity with sales analytics tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
