  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary:

The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all equipment manufactured meet the required standards of quality and safety. This role involves inspecting materials, work in progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections of materials and components used in the manufacturing of pressure vessels to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection records and reports. Document non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Compliance: Ensure all pressure vessels comply with industry standards such as ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and other relevant regulations.
  • Calibration: Verify that all measuring equipment and tools are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to provide feedback and guidance on quality issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in quality control or engineering is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within the manufacturing sector, preferably in pressure vessel manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and tools.
  • Certifications: Certification from a recognized body like CSWIP 3.1 and NDE Level II (PT, MT, UT and RT)
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to identify issues in complex assemblies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report findings to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Yearly bonus
