  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

Consultations, Patient Care and Treatment, Training:

  • Perform initial assessments and evaluations of animals to determine the need for rehabilitation services, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Provide consultation to patients and perform assessment of rehabilitation needs.
  • Create individualized therapy programs, including physical exercises, stretches, and modalities (such as heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation) to promote healing and increase mobility.
  • Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with veterinarians.
  • Utilize rehabilitation techniques such as physical therapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and exercise programs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Educate pet owners on home care exercises, therapies, and maintenance plans.
  • Provide training, mentorship and guidance to other veterinary rehabilitation therapists assistants on rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of each animal’s treatment and progress and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for animal care.

Collaboration with other Departments:

  • Collaborate with veterinarians from other departments and specialists to develop and provide guidance on rehabilitation plans.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Diploma Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Certification in veterinary rehabilitation (e.g., Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner [CCRP], Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist [CCRT], Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist [CCAT] or equivalent.
  • Experience or training in physical therapy, massage therapy, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in veterinary rehabilitation or a related field is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,200.00 per month
