Job Description

Many of the wicked problems in society today require interconnected and interdependent perspectives and collective collaboration. The SUSS Core curriculum enables students to thrive in a VUCA world by equipping them with interdisciplinary & experiential learning tools and processes, enabling students to synthesise knowledge from multiple disciplines to address complex issues. Above all, we deepen students’ socio-cultural competence and social responsibility to the local and global community through sustainable, reciprocal engagement with partners on real-world issues.
The successful candidate is responsible for supporting Service-Learning team in programming-related logistics, data management and analysis in collaboration with all stakeholders (including external organisations and SUSS faculty/staff). The candidate is expected to possess good data management, administrative, communication and organisational skills; and be self-motivated and able to perform duties with little supervision.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the planning and implementation of workshops, events, university awards, and administrative duties that support Service-Learning programmes.
- Administration of Service-Learning grants.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders (e.g., SUSS staff, faculty/associate faculty, teaching assistants, SUSS students, and community partners) in fulfilment of the abovementioned responsibilities.
- Support data management and analysis of various Service-Learning initiatives.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor, as well as support department and university activities.
Job Requirements
- A Polytechnic Diploma or A levels holder or current undergraduate (SUSS part-time) with at least 1 year of professional experience.
- Proficient in handling data and data entry, with data analytics skills preferred.
- Some experience and knowledge of finance and accounting will be a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.).
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity.
- Good coordination and administrative skills, with the ability to manage and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
