Job Description:

  • Fabricate, install, maintain, modify, and repair mechanical plants and equipment in accordance with technical specifications.

  • Fit and assemble metal parts to fabricate production machines and other equipment

  • Use a range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards

  • Test and identify defective or worn mechanical components or equipment

  • Use precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit

  • Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments out of metal.

  • Ensure the safety and efficiency of the equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a processing plant or similar industrial environment.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
