About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join our leadership team. The Account Director will be responsible for overseeing key client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and client relationship management, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in media production and a strong knowledge in digital marketing will also be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Oversight: Manage overall account operations, including project strategy, ensuring quality of deliverables, timeline management, and resource allocation.
- Client Relations: To maintain a strong relationship with existing clients, build new relationships with inbound projects with aim to create retainer relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of each project’s strategic planning, focusing on client’s objectives.
- Process Management: Design, implement, and maintain efficient processes across the content production lifecycle, from strategy, conceptualisation, production to post-production and delivery.
- Budget Management: Oversee account budgets and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the account servicing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Expected Traits:
These are the key traits we hope to see in applications for the role:
- Intuitive understanding of client communications - Dealing with clients will be the first and foremost responsibility for this role. Applicants will be expected to know how to work well with clients from various backgrounds, seniority, aptitude and industries. Clients will come from diverse organisational structures, from fully-staffed global marketing teams, to multi-layered, traditional enterprises, to solo and understaffed teams. The applicant is expected to have an intuitive understanding of how to communicate with each client so that they feel understood, heard and that their needs are addressed.
- Agile & Adaptability - We have a strong dynamic culture within the company, and are always open to trying new things and exploring new forms of deliverables for our clients. From running staged-events, to live streams, webinars and even editorial content like whitepapers and case studies, applicants must embrace a willingness to learn new skills, take on new AI tools, and become domain experts in new industries. Applicants should also be aware that regional travel is likely and compulsory for this role.
- Self-motivated & Curious - Our work spans across clients that provide cutting edge technologies that have a very real impact on human lives. However, these technologies are often hidden behind bad storytelling and it’s our responsibility to bring out the story behind the tech. Applicants should be self-motivated to constantly be updated on latest tech trends, current affairs and client news. Intelligent conversations and exchanges should invigorate and not drain them. They should also have the self motivation to constantly improve on processes and inefficiencies.
Additional Notes:
- This role requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to be involved in all aspects of the content creation process.
- The Account Director will work closely with the company Managing Director and all other teams to deliver on project/customer satisfaction.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $5,500.00 - $6,300.00 per month
