The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering quality, person-centered care for seniors at the Senior Care Centre. This includes providing nursing care, health education, and support services to promote seniors’ well-being and maintain their functional independence. The RN ensures that care provided aligns with the Centre’s standards, policies, and regulatory requirements while fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients, caregivers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Conduct assessments, provide nursing services (wound management, catheter care, medication management), and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Education & Training: Educate clients and caregivers on chronic illness management and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Safety & Incident Management: Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and manage incidents.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and support audit processes.
  • Centre Operations Support: Assist in staff training, manage medical supplies, and support multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Professional Development: Adhere to ethical standards, participate in continuous education, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in eldercare or community care.
  • Strong knowledge of chronic disease management, wound care, and infection control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and an additional language or dialect is advantageous.
  • Passion for working with seniors.
