Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a WSH Officer :
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site safety team to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
- Develop, review, revise, maintain, and implement the Workplace Safety & Health Management System to mitigate risks and prevent workplace incidents.
- Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of WSH regulations and ensure enforcement of safety standards as per the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to workplace safety and health.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to WSH policies and standards by staff and subcontractors.
- Identify potential workplace hazards, assess risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit safety-related documentation to clients, main contractors, or corporate WSH departments as required.
- Foster a strong workplace safety culture and awareness within the organization.
- Ensure the effectiveness and readiness of fire protection systems and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) for both office and factory premises.
- Promote workplace safety and health through awareness programs, training sessions, drills, and other engagement activities.
- Liaise with relevant authorities regarding WSH-related licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations and requirements.
- Conduct fire safety and emergency preparedness training for employees.
- Provide regular updates to management on WSH performance and implement continual improvement plans.
- Oversee third-party security service providers to ensure their services align with organizational requirements.
- Implement and maintain a Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to enhance the organization's WSH Management System and ensure continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Strong technical knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk management..
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 6,000 +VB (1 - 2 Months)
- Working Location: Woodlands
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5:45pm
