Our client is test laboratory specializing in fast, reliable and accurate testing of metal. They offer a comprehensive selection of tests and inspection services including mechanical tests, chemical and metallographic analysis, corrosion tests, non-destructive tests, welding consultancy & welding inspection, failure analysis, etc.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

  • Samples receiving (Customers send the samples to our office)

  • Loading and unloading of the metal samples by using a forklift

  • Allocate and prepare samples (unboxing, repositioning, labelling) for the next process.

  • Verify sample identification matches the client request or client documentation

  • Send/ collect the samples to or from the workshop department

  • Set up a good storage place and system to track samples

  • Proper labelling and storage of samples from Customers

  • Prepare sample to be returned - wrap and pack samples

  • Liaise with Test Dept to consolidate tested specimens for return to Customers

  • Collect and deliver samples to customers or vendors

  • Send or pick up colleagues from site jobs.

  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the head of department

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must have a Singapore Class 3 Driving License. (Company vehicle will be provided for work, but cannot drive home)

  • Has at least 1 year of relevant working experience (e.g. experience in yard entry requirement etc.)

  • Preferably with a forklift license (added advantage but not compulsory)

  • A keen learner with good communication skills
