Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Assist in the planning and coordination of academic programs, including scheduling classes and managing course offerings.
Prepare and maintain academic records, including student grades and, transcripts.
Serve as the primary point of contact forstudents, faculty, and staff regarding academic-related inquiries.
Student Services:
Support student enrollment processes, including registration, advising, and graduation procedures.
Address and resolve student issues and concerns related to academic policies and procedures.
Organize and facilitate orientation programs and academic workshops.
Faculty Support:
Assist faculty with administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, managing teaching schedules, and handling correspondence.
Coordinate faculty recruitment processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
Manage faculty records, including tenure and promotion documentation.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with QA regulations related to academic programs and student records.
Prepare and submit reports on academic performance, program effectiveness, and other relevant metrics.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with privacy regulations.
Event Planning:
Organize and support academic events such as seminars, conferences, and graduation ceremonies.
Coordinate logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and materials preparation.
Communication and Collaboration:
Foster effective communication between academic departments, students, and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with other administrative units to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Office Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the academic office, including managing office supplies and equipment.
Develop and implement office procedures to improve workflow and productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within an academic or educational setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in office software and academic management systems (e.g., student information systems).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
