Job Title: Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Arcade Bar
Job Description:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) of an Arcade Bar plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. The AGM supports the Managing Director in managing staff, maintaining financial health, and upholding the bar's unique atmosphere, which combines the fun of an arcade with the social vibe of a bar. This role requires a blend of hospitality, leadership, and operational skills to create a vibrant and profitable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including arcade game maintenance, bar service, and food operations.
- Ensure the arcade bar is clean, organized, and fully functional at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels for games, food, beverages, and supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with arcade games or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train staff to provide exceptional service and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
Staff Management:
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Financial Management:
- Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting.
Marketing and Events:
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute events, promotions, and tournaments to drive traffic and engagement.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff, addressing any potential hazards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a bar, restaurant, or entertainment venue.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,000.00 per month
