Time Type: Full TimePurposePerform ocean export operational activities such as document processing, consolidation, and transshipment.Key Tasks
- Export ocean document processing
- Arrange booking with FCL and LCL carrier
- Assign transhipment into export leg consol file in the CW1 system.
- Planning of consolidation container, ensure that DSV consolidation loading is optimised, considering operational and financial factors.
- Monitor shipment arrival and departure using the carrier and an online portal.
- Arrange for trucking and loading of container with CFS operator
- Ensure that all hazardous cargo arrangements and procedures are in accordance with company policy.
- Filing of AMS / ACI as needed
- Issuance of BL and shipping certificates as needed
- Adherence to all destinations' SOPs
- Compliance with irregularity handling procedures with the origin and destinations.
- Ensure that shipment costs are correctly accrued in CW1. Verify vendor/intercompany invoices and file disputes for any that are incorrect.
- Ensure shipment timely invoicing in accordance with company KPIs.
- Ensure that files are checked, updated, closed, and archived accurately within the defined KPIs.
- Back up for other team members as when necessary
- Any other job-related tasks assigned by the superior
- Recommend improvements to your superior and escalate operational service failures.
- Ensure that all security arrangements and procedures adhere to company policy.
- Adherence to the DSV Group's Code of Conduct policy.
- At all times, promote, present, and adhere to DSV's professionalism and policies.
