Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated analyst to join the Retail Technology Operations & Readiness team. This team is responsible for configuring and supporting the technology used in each of our Apple Retail Stores around the globe to support the complex needs of the business. The Retail Technology Operations & Readiness team ensures that all new product introductions, major feature releases, new store openings, and additional significant events are implemented and supported flawlessly in a number of diverse systems and platforms with a wide variety of critical partners.Description DescriptionThe ideal Operations & Readiness Analyst will have a strong experience in the retail industry, significant technical investigation and troubleshooting skills, high energy, deep curiosity, and exceptional teamwork / partnership capabilities. As an Analyst, you'll be responsible for critical support and configuration activities related to a variety of important events within our retail stores such as product and pricing configuration, financing setup, and customer-facing session scheduling in our Genius Bars. The Analyst will partner with product managers, quality assurance team members, and our IS&T group on tooling updates and production support initiatives. As a member of this team, you'll be working to support our worldwide fleet of stores partnering with resources in all regions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Configure technical systems and platforms based on published Plan of Record information for all of Apple's products in all markets. - Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners in testing, supporting, and troubleshooting issues within a complex environment. - Develop systems and automation to improve technical efficiency and quality. - Partner with product managers on identifying, prioritizing, and designing tooling enhancements offering higher quality and greater efficiency in ongoing work. - Periodically travel to key stores in various regions for production support and testing in advance of new product introductions.Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • 4 years experience in a complex retail environment. Familiarity with retail business, point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and SAP.
  • Strong communications skills with a broad set of technical and non-technical resources.
  • Experience in planning, managing, or delivering complex technology in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
