JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Oversee the performance and duties of front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
- Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing guidance to existing staff.
- Ensure high-quality service is delivered to customers by monitoring staff interactions and handling customer complaints or issues.
- Assist in creating a positive dining experience by addressing guest needs and ensuring service standards are met.
- Assist the restaurant manager with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Address and resolve any staff conflicts or performance issues.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure that they are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
- Promote daily specials, events, and menu items to customers.
- Assist in implementing and managing promotional activities to drive sales.
- Ensure all catering equipment is functioning properly and is in good condition.
- Establishes rapport with guests to build guest loyalty and respond efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints/feedback
- Ensure there is an adequate supply of ingredients and catering materials and place orders when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations and ensure that the whole restaurant is always kept clean, organized, and presentable at all time
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in working for Banfglasdeshi Indian restaurants and catering will be advantage
- Preferably with experience in food packaging and distribution network through various channels
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of bangladeshi and Indian cuisines (Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian) is highly preferred
- Prefrably with experience in Bangladeshi Catering is prefered. Must know all food menus of bangladesh.
- Able to identify dishes or wide knowledge of Indian food and understand Indian Food culture and techniques
- need to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as managing staff while also ensuring the event runs smoothly.
- Prior experience managing staff in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
- Preferably with Class 3 Driving Licence
- Willing to do rotating shift
- Able to work long hours and available especially on weekends and public holidays in line with business needs, the flexibility to work late evenings with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
- Ability to work under pressure and fit into work culture
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks responsibly and able to multi-task
