A leading Asia-based private equity firm is seeking an Associate to join its Investor Relations team. With a strong presence across global financial hubs, the firm specializes in platform-building, buyouts, credit, and growth-focused opportunities within the healthcare sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical technology, and healthcare services.

Overview:The Associate will support the Investor Relations team in fundraising activities across private equity, private credit, and other relevant investment strategies. Key responsibilities include working with the investor relations operations team to support client service, fundraising campaign implementation, material preparation, investor communication, investment monitoring, due diligence, research, reporting, and CRM/database management. Additionally, the role involves assisting with investor meetings, events, and ad-hoc requests.

Location: Singapore or Shanghai
Reporting Line: Director, Investor Relations (Based in Singapore)

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and managing required due diligence deliverables necessary to advance clients during fundraising, including DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, quantitative datasets, IDD / ODD presentations, etc.
• Support fundraising process e.g. prepare presentations, investor updates, roadshows, managing other client-facing materials marketing collateral like pitchbook presentations, standard DDQs, case studies, etc.
• Collaborate with other teams to conduct due diligence on investors and onboarding
• Work as a team to develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and family offices etc
• Liaise with investors to provide them fund performance updates and respond to any fund queries
• Liaise with different departments to prepare marketing materials, investment memorandum, reports etc
• Organize investor events and meetings
• Other ad-hoc duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• Two to six years of experience in private equity, private credit, consulting, investment banking, Big Four firms, placement agents, or investment consulting.
• Exposure to alternative asset industries, particularly in private markets capital raising, investor relations, client service, or fund investment, is a plus.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Mandarin Chinese is an advantage due to regional team interactions.
• Experience in private equity (buyout, growth, or venture) is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM databases for tracking client activity, fundraising campaigns, and pipeline management.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written), excellent email etiquette, and attention to detail.
• Analytical, well-organized, and comfortable working with financial data.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
• A positive attitude and strong team player mentality.
