We are looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our team to support the War & Terrorism business unit by performing administrative, analytical, and ad hoc tasks, along with developing key skills in underwriting, insurance knowledge and business acumen. The employee will gain direct experience under close supervision and mentorship to develop a strong foundation to begin their insurance career.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the War & Terrorism Team by taking on various tasks that include and but are not limited to producing renewal reports, liaising with key sources on outstanding debt, completing policy documentation, provide assistance in modelling risks, file management and engaging with key business sources.
- Enrol and progressively complete the prerequisites to obtain the Advanced Diploma in Insurance awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
- Contributing to an effective team environment by interacting professionally with all team members and providing assistance as required.
- Taking responsibility and showing initiative in the development of your technical and soft skills.
