IT Cyber Security Team
Responsibilities:
IT Security Engineering Support:
- Assist in monitoring and managing the security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection tools.
- Help with vulnerability scanning, patch management, and remediation efforts for various systems and applications.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of security solutions.
- Participate in security incident investigations and post-mortem analysis.
IT Security Advisory Support:
- Help with risk assessments and security audits of IT systems, networks, and applications.
- Support the creation and review of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Assist in the development of security awareness programs and training materials for employees.
- Assist with ongoing cybersecurity compliance activities, including data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Collaborative Projects:
- Work closely with team members on security initiatives, including threat intelligence, secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud security best practices.
- Contribute to reports, presentations, and documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to ongoing cybersecurity discussions and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Cyber Security / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / information systems / Engineering domain
- Hands on experience with Cyber Security tools, Public Cloud technologies or willingness to rapidly pick up.
- Hands on Coding and scripting experience using python or any scripting language
- Exposure Cyber Security is preferred
- Positive attitude, a good team player & Willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Participation in relevant IT Department meetings;
- Able to commit on a full time internship basis for a minimum of 6 months
