RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise in key verticals.
  • Strategically convert prospects into long-term, loyal clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, trade practices, and economic shifts impacting the freight forwarding industry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring excellent service.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, evaluate competitors, and recommend strategies to enter new markets.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue and profitability goals.
  • Align personal sales efforts with overall organizational objectives and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of tailored freight solutions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior leadership.
  • Hold client meetings and participate in industry events to strengthen relationships and expand market presence.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in sales roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of air and ocean freight forwarding solutions, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Strong track record of developing and closing high-value deals while consistently meeting sales KPIs.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to engage and influence various stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools to manage leads and track performance.
  • Skilled at building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting them into revenue.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in diverse environments and meet travel demands.
