What we do

We're building an AI-powered media tech marketplace that's transforming how publishers, journalists, and companies work together. Our platform helps companies connect with journalists to deliver impactful stories through top-tier publications, while giving journalists more control over their content and helping publishers find new ways to monetize their digital assets.

In a nutshell

  • $600 internship allowance.
  • Fully remote, with fortnightly physical meetups.
  • Work on real things that touch customers.

Our tech stack

Our web app is written in Python using Litestar and HTMX, stored on GitHub, and deployed on GCP. Our data is stored in Postgres and our infrastructure is managed with OpenTofu (open-source Terraform fork). For work tracking, we use Monday.

What we're looking for

  • A solid foundation in Python, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • An eye for good user experience.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • A love for automating away tedious tasks.

Why you should join us

  • Real impact: you'll work on features that customers actually use.
  • Direct learning: work closely with experienced developers who care about teaching.
  • Full involvement: participate in the entire process from design to deployment.

Things you need to know

  • You'll need to be comfortable with some ambiguity. Requirements often evolve as we learn more about what our users need.
  • We're a startup, which means things move fast and plans change often. This can be exciting but also challenging.
  • While we have standard working hours, you'll need to manage your time well and communicate clearly with the team.

The interview process

We keep it simple and respectful of your time:

Coding - asynchronous

You’ll be given access to a repository, where you’re required to take a simple requirement and create a pull request to meet it.

Coding round review/product collaboration - 60 minutes

Discuss the choices you made in the previous round, then work through a simple business problem together and how you might solve it, and see what working together on a day-to-day basis might be like.
