Job Scope

  • Refine and enhance Bankside’s proprietary quantitative trading models.
  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to address practical investment challenges and implement trading algorithms across various asset classes.
  • Collaborate with the fund manager and analysts to evaluate trading strategies, market conditions, and system performance.
  • Develop tools for data cleaning, processing, and analysis.
  • Lead the creation of a technology-driven wealth management platform.
  • Oversee trade operations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java
  • Hands-on experience with simulation, testing, and statistical modelling techniques (including multivariate regression and time series analysis)
  • Strong data mining and analytical skills
  • Expertise in data structures
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line interfaces
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL or MySQL databases
  • Collaborative mindset with high motivation and initiative

Education and Experience

  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent;
  • Relevant professional experiences preferred;
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin.
