
Behaviour Intervention Executive
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Aspects
- Collect information and conduct assessments of residents.
- Execute intervention plans for the management and mitigation of challenging resident behaviours.
- Observe, collate, review, and synthesize behavioural data for the development of evidence-based intervention plans.
- Provide counselling and behaviour intervention services.
- Participate and contribute during multi-disciplinary team discussions.
- Develop, execute and review Individual Care Plans.
- Offer subject matter expertise and training to nursing and direct care staff.
- Operate in tandem with the Associate Psychologist and other professional disciplines towards the wellbeing of all residents.
Process and Resource Management Aspects:
- Maintain accurate and timely updates of case recordings, client profiles and other related case work management processes
- Adhere to the standard operating procedures and case work practices
Other Aspects:
- Participate in monthly individual and group supervision sessions with Clinical Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Psychology
- Other qualifications in Healthcare and Special Education related disciplines may be considered as well.
- Good listening and communication skills to communicate with clients with diverse abilities and backgrounds
- Good written communication skills to document information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and external agencies
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and administrative skills
- Passionate and committed to working with people with disabilities
- Good team player with a positive and resilient attitude
- Able to work on weekends or weekday evenings when necessary
