Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Portfolio Monitoring: Review and monitor loan portfolios per Credit Policy.
  • Margin & Limit Management: Manage daily margin and limit excesses, ensuring collateral upkeep.
  • Client Communication: Send margin call notices and enforcement letters via Relationship Managers (RMs).
  • Covenant Tracking: Monitor and escalate covenant breaches and approval conditions.

  • Task Accuracy: Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Assist leadership with projects and initiatives as needed.

Critical Competencies:

  • Experience: 5-8 years in credit risk/control, ideally in Private Banking/Wealth Management.
  • Knowledge: Proficient in Lombard, mortgages, life insurance, margin lending, and collateral asset types.
  • Risk Management: Skilled in managing margin and limiting excesses independently.
  • Credit Processes: Strong understanding of credit policies and procedures.
  • Education: Degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Access, and macro programming; Bloomberg/Reuters a plus.
  • Teamwork: Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Initiative: Proactive and has strong ownership of tasks.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
