System Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Perform or support the assigned Business Analyst in user requirements and scope gathering/clarifications/negotiations
• Perform impact analysis on Change Requests and document proposed solution and estimated required effort.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements to develop technical specifications
• Ownership of the creation of functional design specifications in the absence of an assigned Business Analyst for lower complexity or non-time sensitive enhancements
• AML system changes/production fixes Design, Development and Unit Testing
• Review and contribute to test planning and design for SIT and UAT
• Manage and work with vendor and internal UOB teams to successfully deliver enhancements for AML systems
• Manage and work closely with stakeholders during all phases of system changes delivery
• Coordinate and plan with Infra and change management teams for application deployment activities in Devops environment.
• Setup and maintain application Infrastructure in Unix, Windows and Oracle environment
• Effect system changes into test and production environments by following application change implementation process via the Bitbucket, Jenkins and Aldon change management tools
• Conduct technical delivery/process knowledge and best practices sharing/training sessions with internal teams to help improve overall delivery competency level.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years’ of relevant AML systems enhancements delivery experience preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:

• You must have good experience in system integration/interfacing design and delivery.
• Hands-on experience in design and configurations/development work for AML platforms like Netreveal, Actimize etc
• Experience in leading with good results, design gathering and design workshops with users as part of change delivery or defects fixes work
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL design and development skills
• Good system delivery Operational impact awareness
• You will typically be assigned to work on specific Change Requests and Production Fixes and is expected to support the Application Delivery.
• Depending on the assignments, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to provide environment support during SIT/UAT.
• You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
• You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that is fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.
