Grace Baptist Church, English Congregation is looking for a pastor to join our leadership to establish a church plant and oversee the missions ministry.
1. Main duties and responsibilities:
Primary Role
- Explore potential revitalisation/planting opportunities
- Map out a church-planting plan together with the rest of the church leadership
- Establish the groundwork for an eventual plant within 3 years
- Identify, recruit and lead a core group for a new church plant
Secondary Role
- Lead, organise, and oversee the Missions Committee in carrying out GBC’s missions strategy, policy, and practices
- Organise and oversee pastoral care for GBC’s supported missions workers
- Explore potential missions partnerships and build cooperation with like-minded workers and churches
General Responsibilities
- Serve as one of the elders of the English Congregation
- Carry out preaching, teaching and leading of corporate worship
- Work with the rest of the staff to carry out the church’s operations, ministries and activities
2. Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline
- Preference will be given for those with theological qualifications
3. Minimum Years of Experience
- Minimum 3 years full time pastoral experience
- Relevant experience in working with churches on a cross border basis and church planting preferred
