Our sustainability team drives key programs, including the Be the Change Summit, Textile Circularity Consortium, Everybody Matters, and Impact Retail, which aim to bring together industry stakeholders to accelerate sustainable transformation in fashion.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Executive/Senior Executive to join the Sustainability Team at SFC. This role will be responsible for supporting and driving the execution of sustainability programs, engaging with industry stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of key initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sustainability, fashion, or related industries, with excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of sustainability programs, including but not limited to Be the Change Summit, Textile Circularity Consortium, Everybody Matters, and Impact Retail.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and liaise with industry partners, brands, retailers, and policymakers to drive collaboration and action.
  • Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends, circular economy practices, and inclusive design principles to inform program development.
  • Lead content development, including curating discussion topics, preparing talking points, and coordinating speakers and mentors for events and learning initiatives.
  • Oversee event and program logistics, coordinating with internal teams (events, marketing, innovation & technology) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Develop strategic reports, presentations, and proposals to support program planning and funding applications.
  • Track program impact and document key insights for continuous improvement and strategic development.
  • Represent SFC at industry events, forums, and discussions related to sustainability, circularity, and inclusive design.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in environmental studies, business, supply chain management, fashion, public policy, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, fashion, circular economy, supply chains, partnership, or business development. Relevant internship experience will also be considered.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in event planning, industry partnerships, and program coordination is highly desirable.
  • Passionate about sustainability, inclusivity, and driving systemic change in the fashion industry.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design skills, including but not limited to fashion and experiential design, are a plus but not compulsory.
