Our Client is a wine distributor and We are seeking a Purchasing and Order Processing Coordinator to be responsible for managing the procurement of goods, processing orders, and ensuring efficient stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing & Supplier Coordination – Source and purchase goods, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Order Processing & Fulfillment – Accurately process orders, update inventory, and coordinate stock transfers to ensure smooth fulfillment, including e-commerce operations.
- Inventory Management – Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and maintain inventory accuracy to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Supplier & Vendor Communication – Liaise with suppliers regarding order status, delivery issues, and product quality while managing supplier data.
- Reporting & Documentation – Maintain purchase records, invoices, and procurement reports to ensure compliance and support decision-making.
- Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution – Address discrepancies, returns, and stock-related issues by collaborating with relevant teams for effective solutions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, and order processing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in inventory management and order processing software.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
