
Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager - Air Freight
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Preparation: Generate and issue accurate invoices in line with company policies and client agreements.
- Billing Accuracy: Review customer accounts and billing histories to ensure completeness and correctness.
- Error Resolution: Identify and rectify any billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Data Management: Maintain and update billing records, transactions, and client payment details.
- Payment Tracking: Monitor and track payments, ensuring timely collections and follow-ups on outstanding invoices.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve billing-related inquiries, disputes, and payment concerns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and generate billing and payment reports for management review.
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts receivable to ensure financial accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure billing operations comply with financial regulations and company policies.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable, preferably in the logistics or freight industry.
- Proficiency in accounting or billing software, with strong MS Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Understanding of financial regulations, company policies, and ability to manage billing records systematically.
