- Drive the evolution of financial data collection and consumption • Be part of the team to continuously digitalise the financial reporting value chain through various initiatives • Engage local and international stakeholders to build ACRA's brand and profile, and matters relating to collection and consumption of financial data • Facilitate companies' preparation, filing and consumption of XBRL financial statements • Responsible for BizFinx system and operations, and drive enhancements to resolve operational issues and increase efficiency and effectiveness • Play a support role in administering reliefs from financial reporting requirements and NOE applications to rectify defective accounts, and conduct the relevant enforcement against non-compliant companies and/or directors • Initiate or participate in any other systems-related or financial reporting-related initiatives • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
- Professional Qualification in Accountancy/IT would be preferred • Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar role • Good project management skills and the ability to take initiative • Passion for system and operations work, and keen to acquire new skillsets such as XBRL technology, design thinking, data science and UI/UX design • Meticulous with excellent analytical skills. Able to identify and mitigate risk areas relating to system implementation • Good communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills • Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with the various stakeholders of the financial reporting eco system • Able to work both independently and in project teams
