Operations Executive

Small-size Freight Forwarding company hiring for Operations Executive position. Main business include Sea Freight FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO.

• 5 days work week, Mon - Fri, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
• Rotational work from home shift.
• Small, supportive and flexible family-style work environment.
• Not required to be in excessive formal office wear on a daily basis.
• Flexible and people-centric company management.
• Even before Covid, staff are allowed to work from home on rotation basis as long as they are accountable and able to perform their duties in trustworthy and timely manner.
• NOT suitable for completely freshmen due to being small company with limited manpower and resources for training.
• NOT suitable for calculative indiviuals who refuse to help out for ocassional urgent case after work hours due to nature of industry.

Hiring only experienced and confident candidates of the following criterias :-

• Able to handle freight and logistics operations coordination and paperwork independently with minimum supervision.
• Licensed to declare customs permits for export and imports.
• Familiar and able to use Sysfreight (sysmagic) system.

Job scope includes :-

• Making FCL/LCL/RORO bookings with carriers and co-loaders.
• Liaising with clients on cargo consolidation.
• Liaising with vendors (i.e. transporters, hauliers, stuffing warehouses, etc) on cargo readiness and/or deliveries.
• Liaising with overseas agents (e.g. sending pre-alerts, checking rates, etc).
• Invoicing.
• General CS duties such as communicating with clients, emailing BLs/DOs, arranging dispatch, etc.
