- Oversee the efficient and safe operations of the Company's fleet of tankers, ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements of terminals, charterers, customers, and international/local regulations.
- Manage and coordinate marine management and navigation audits, ensure crew proficiency through continuous training, and maintain the Safety Management System while monitoring and updating vessel performance.
- Supervise the maintenance, servicing, and replacement of cargo operations and navigation equipment, investigate accidents/incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, third parties, and P&I insurers on marine operations, inspections, and surveys, while managing the Marine Department's budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources and support.
Requirements:
- CoC Class 1 or Class 2 certified
- At least 5 years of shore-based HSE management experience for product or chemical tankers, along with seagoing experience as a Master.
- Knowledge of international and local maritime regulations and compliance requirements.
