RESPONSIBILITIES:

Objective:

Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statements.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support tax filing, GST reporting, and corporate tax compliance.
  • Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Assist in financial planning, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements to optimize financial operations.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in process automation or digital finance transformation is an advantage.
