Responsibilities:
- Identify and source vendors through appropriate channels to meet company requirements.
- Analyze vendor proposals from technical and commercial perspectives in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Ensure the best-fit solution for inquiries and requests to align with company specifications.
- Monitor pricing from vendors and provide timely updates to Sales Officers.
- Evaluate vendors' terms and conditions to align with company agreements.
- Initiate and follow up on cost estimations and resolutions for any discrepancies.
- Collect, organize, and report sourcing data to maintain accurate records in the company database.
- Collaborate with vendors to monitor order progress and ensure timely deliveries.
- Verify delivery confirmations and manage advance payment processes when required.
- Oversee vendor invoicing and payment processing within agreed terms.
- Suggest improvements to vendor relations and supply chain processes.
- Contribute ideas for optimizing administrative procedures and workflows.
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/ or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience in energy sector is an advantage
- Candidates with no experience can apply as on-the-job training is provided
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Effective time management and adaptability to work beyond standard hours if needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with vendors and colleagues.
