Functional Competencies:
- Perform review of marine construction, equipment of drawings / document according to applicable rules, regulations and delegations.
- Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure contract requirements are met.
- Provide technical assistance (troubleshoot problems) and attend to clients’ enquiries on projects.
- Check and confirm quotations and invoices prepared by department administrators.
- Support Equipment & Material Certification team and Consultancy Services team in drawing review and inspection work, as and when required.
- Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.
- Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in related field.
- Familiarity with class rules and international regulations with a minimum level 2 delegation or equivalent within area of specialization: Hull /Machinery/ Electrical / Automation/ Safety, Stability /TLO.
